Product Overview
Description
The shock absorber on a motorcycle is a key component of the suspension system designed to dampen and control the impact of road irregularities and vibrations. It absorbs and dissipates energy from the road or trail, providing a smoother and more stable ride by controlling the rate at which the motorcycle’s suspension compresses and rebounds. Typically consisting of a piston, hydraulic fluid, and a spring, the shock absorber helps maintain wheel contact with the road, improves handling, and enhances rider comfort.
