From Silicon Valley Garage to Nationwide Fleet
Founded in 2021 by a dedicated team of automotive electrical engineers and avid bicycle commuters, Surron was created to resolve a fundamental market frustration: e-bikes were either overpriced luxury status symbols locked down with proprietary software, or cheap disposable imports with unreliable battery packs and zero replacement parts.
We chose a radically different path: open-architecture, modular electric bicycles engineered with certified Grade-A Samsung and LG lithium cells, high-torque Bafang drivetrains, and aerospace-grade 6061 hydroformed aluminum frames. Every bike we manufacture can be serviced, upgraded, and repaired with standard tools for decades of dependable riding.

When your battery pack eventually completes its multi-year operational lifecycle, you can ship it to any Surron service depot for free, closed-loop processing.
Over 95% of cobalt, nickel, and copper are recovered and recycled back into clean energy supply chains, ensuring zero lithium cells end up in municipal landfills.
