Sur Ron Battery 72v 40Ah Race Compaq 32.5Kw + Charger as it is light and powerful and now with even more upgrades: upgraded internal configuration, upgraded high power BMS, new handle, new graphics and full marine grade stainless steel 316 exoskeleton / casing.
Power
The nine Paralell cell configuration is capable of 550 amps and BMS restricted to 450Amps. 32.5kW power is easily achievable until BMS roll bakc kisks in. We have spent sevral months testinga nd evaulting the cell we are using and so confident we are extending our cell warranty to 18 months for this battery.
Exoskeleton / Casing
We have upgraded the casing to marine grade 316 stainless steel, so absolutely no rust issues here! Super tough and powder coated inside and out.
Connectors
The main battery to controller connectors we use are QS8 connectors of thicker 6AWG cables. The battery to bile to controler loom is included.
Fitting
The battery fits straight into the OEM  bike frame. No need for spacers or hinges. But being 72v will need to fit our after market power loom to the controller via the trip switch fitting. Its a simple job, just swapping out the main red and black power cable.We include this free of charge.

Connecting to Bike
When connecting the battery to the bike and to avoid a spark, turn the red trip switch on the bike to off. Connect the power cable and then turn the red trip to on.
Low power adapter included for those who do not want to change bike side loom – Max power 12Kw if used
Battery Charging
First time charging is VERY important. Always connect the charger to the battery with the charger powered up at the mains first. This will stop a “Connection Spark”. The battery needs a “Balance Charge” on first charge. Please charge for 12 hours first time.  Always charge your battery in a safe place and never unsupervised.
