EBMX XLB Series Motors MUST be properly shimmed, or else you will have side wear to the sprockets!!

Important Notice:

When installing, make sure your chain tension is not tight! Any chain drive that you install should have loose chain tension!

Install Tips:

⚠️ Chain tension matters.

This kit must be installed with loose chain tension — not tight. A tight chain can cause premature wear or damage. Always double-check alignment and slack after installation.

This kit will be louder than a belt — no way around that. But it's no louder than other chain kits and can be made quieter with an O-ring chain (though that may add some drag).
